The Legal Sanctity of Marriage - Part 3: The Huntress Hunter Hunted

It’s quite odd that I should pen a series of Books entitled, The Legal Sanctity of Marriage, and here 6th May 2023 we have our re-married Charles becoming King C. 3rd.
But is it Legal? I mean if you look back along his Family Line you’ll find he came from a First Cousin Marriage, Victoria & Albert; prior to that her Uncle George 4th (se also below) wed his 1st Cousin, Caroline, albeit many generations back; into the 20th century, Edward 7th wed 3rd cousin, Alexandra; then King George 5th wed 3rd Cousin, Mary; but more recently, Charles’ parents were 3rd Cousins;
But, any how you’ll say it’s all Legal in the UK, yet it isn’t in half the US States! Overall it apparently depends where in the World You Live!
Hence, dear John always saying The Law is An Inconsistent ASS!
But still on about first cousin unions: Most babies born to cousin couples are healthy; however, there may be a higher risk of their baby having an inherited condition, passing on certaingenetic disorders!
The problem arises when there is an unusual gene in the family and both parents have this unusual gene.
What if down our House Lines of Saxe-Coburg & Gotha, through Leopold into Windsor that Gene existed, and we were unaware of it?
Just a thought MADMAN George 3rd was Victoria’s Grandad!
(A new research project based at St George’s, University of London, has concluded that George III did actually suffer from mental illness after all!) Inherited by his son George 4th, above?
So, which of our Royal family, 200 years past, or present, is/has displayed similar symptoms?
Or is likely to?
